Blue Coat claims Packeteer success

Blue Coat Systems, specialist in WAN Application Delivery and Secure Web Gateways, has announced that it has reached over 3,000 former Packeteer customers and channel partners in just three weeks, following its acquisition of Packeteer. An aggressive schedule of road shows and online events put Blue Coat executives and employees directly in touch with newly acquired customers and channel partners. The response from both customers and partners to these events reflects their strong interest in the combined set of solutions now offered by Blue Coat, it says.
